The 2019-20 season was hotly contested, with the top three in each division battling it out and changing positions right up until the last month. In the end the winners were:
2YO QTIS Performer on Earnings - Spirit One earned $94,500 in QTIS bonus prizemoney for the season to take the top spot from Hancora Field with $88,950 and Lady Banff finished in third with $84,000 in QTIS bonuses.
Tennessee Boy won five QTIS races to be the Leading 2YO on QTIS Wins.
The highly sought after Leading QTIS 2YO Trainer on Earnings went to Les Ross who banked $275,650 in QTIS bonus prizemoney with 11 wins finishing ahead of Tony & Maddysen Sears who earnt $229,000 and had 12 QTIS wins while Robert Heathcote had $165,400 in QTIS bonuses for the season to finish in third spot.
Heathcote didn’t miss out on the chocolates however, taking the coveted title of QTIS 3YO Premiership Trainer on earnings with 13 wins and $327, 150 bonus prizemoney for the season. He only just managed to bump out Tony Gollan who finished on $300,850 with 15 QTIS winners while Mark Currie pulled up for third spot with nine QTIS wins and $194,900 bonus prizemoney in the bank.
Ross and Heathcote have each won a pay-up into the Magic Millions Series on any (one) yearling that they purchase at any Gold Coast Magic Millions Sale in 2021.
The best performing QTIS 3YO on Earnings for the season was Baroda who banked $106,050 in QTIS bonus prizemoney for connections and recorded four QTIS wins, just scraping in ahead of Guntantes who also had four wins with $105,000 in bonuses and Better Reflection was third after winning two QTIS races and collecting $94,500 in bonus prizemoney for the season.
The Top QTIS 3YO Runners were Love is Blind with six QTIS race wins finishing just ahead of Stuttering who had five wins.
