Robert Heathcote (pictured) with $77,000 in QTIS bonuses had a narrow win over Les Ross who pocketed $75,500 in February with Michael Nolan weighing in with $36,000 for third position.
The excellent results for Heathcote and Ross in February has seen Matt Dunn relegated to third position with $84,000 on the Trainer's Seasonal Table. Ross now sits at the top with $159,350 while Heathcote has earned $136,300 in QTIS bonus prizemoney so far this season.
Michael Nolan collected $47,250 in QTIS bonuses from his 3yo runners to earn the title of leading 3YO QTIS Trainer for February ahead of fellow Toowoomba trainers, Tony & Maddysen Sears nipping at his heels on $45,250 and Toby and Trent Edmonds collected $36,750 for third spot.
The Sears have now jumped back up into third position on the Seasonal table with $144,900 but Tony Gollan remains in the lead with $213,750 and Robert Heathcote is steadily closing the gap, so far amassing $212,500 in QTIS bonus for the season.
Hancora Field was the top performing QTIS 2yo in February, earning $49,500 for connections for the month, with Bellissimi Amici in hot pursuit on $42,000 and Rothfire splitting third spot with Uncle Frank, each winning a Saturday metro and pocketing $24,500 in QTIS bonuses.
The results have led to Hancora Field moving up into third position on the Seasonal table, bumping Spirit One into fourth spot but Lady Banff and Rothfire remain in the top two spots on $84,000 and $73,500 respectively.
In the 3yo QTIS Premiership, Violet was the stand out in February with 447,250 in QTIS bonus prizemoney with Baroda and Exondabeach equal second with $36,750 and Lepreezy collected $25,500 to round out the top three.
The good runs were not enough to have any impact on the Seasonal table however, with Guntantes ($105,000), Better Reflection ($94,500) and Gem of Scotland ($84,000) maintaining their top three positions.
