As horse-lovers we know that horse-lore is a mix of useful practice and unsubstantiated myth and this is why the University of Sydney has launched the Equine Behavior Assessment and Research Questionnaire (E-BARQ).
The study explores how training and management interact with behaviour and will reveal invaluable on how our training and management affects horse welfare. Beyond the immediate and direct research outcomes, E-BARQ also has great benefits to horse owners, riders and trainers.
On completion of the questionnaire, E-BARQ participants will receive a graph that compares their horse with the population (of thousands that have already taken the questionnaire) in 14 different categories.
