It was a great start to the 2yo racing season for reigning QTIS Premiership winner, John Zielke (pictured) , who was the leading QTIS 2yo trainer in October, winning $33,000 in QTIS bonus prizemoney for the first month of the juvenile racing season.
Mark Webb followed with $23,250 and Helen Page wasn't far behind after collecting $17,500 in QTIS bonuses for the month.
Ben Currie is continuing is good run with the 3YOs, earning $34,700 in QTIS bonus prizemoney to finish October at the top of the table for 3YO QTIS Trainers, with Stuart Kendrick nipping at his heels on $32,050 and John O'Sing rounding out the trifecta after winning $28,950 in QTIS bonuses in October.
Hopes Eternal, by Grandview Stud sire Jet Spur, was the most impressive of the first 2yo runners of the season, with two wins and $33,000 in QTIS bonus prizemoney. Miss Ester banked $12,750 for second and Aetherius won $10,500 to share third position alongside Spirit of Boom filly, Lady McCabe. Miss Ester and Aetherius are both by Champion 2yo Sire, Sidereus.
Lyndhurst Stud had a good October, with Drumbets and Hidden Dragon's progeny placing top of the table for the 3yo Performers, Fine 'n' Devine and Hidden Mira, both collecting $25,500 in QTIS bonus prizemoney.
Mishani Electra won $19,200 for second.
Umberto remains at the top of the Seasonal table on $33,000 but Fine 'n' Devine is close behind with a total of $32,400 in QTIS bonus prizemoney so far this season.
