The Father-Daughter partnership between Tony and Maddyson Sears is bearing fruit, with the pair the top QTIS trainers of 2 year olds in October. They finished the month on $74,250 for a clear lead over Les Ross who had $26,250 and Peter and Paul Snowden and Robert Heathcote tied for third with $24,500.
Rex Lipp ( pictured ) was the leading 3yo QTIS Trainer in October, earning $40,050 in bonus prizemoney with Tony Gollan not too far behind on $37,150 and Lyle Rowe rounding out the top three on $23,550.
The new two year old season is well underway and Champion Sire, Spirit of Boom dominated the opening month, with Spirit One the top 2yo, earning $47,250 in bonus prizemoney for the month. Rothfire and Strike were next in line, each with a metro win and collecting $24,500.
Gem of Scotland has continued to dominate the 3yos, again finishing at the top of the QTIS table with $36,750 in bonus prizemoney for the month and a clear lead on Conquer Mee with $17,000 and Epicurious who collected $16,200 in QTIS bonus prizemoney in October.
