Congratulations to Darryl Hansen (pictured) for being the leading 2YO AND 3YO QTIS trainer in January.
Hansen earnt an impressive $49,500 in bonus prizemoney for the month for the 2YOs. There was a three way tie for third with Kevin Kemp, Natali McCall and William Kenning while Michael Nolan was third.
Hansen has now moved into second position on the Season table pushing Lyle Wright into third spot with a total of $48,250. Kelly Doughty remains in the top spot with $73,500 in QTIS bonus prizemoney so far this season.
In the 3YOs Hansen collected $50,200 in QTIS prizemoney followed by Liam Birchley on $36,750 and Robert Heathcote with $27,500.
The great result has seen Hansen rocket from 6th place on the season 3YO Trainers table into first, with a total of $101,500 in QTIS bonus prizemoney. He's pushed Ben Currie into second spot with $90,200 and Robert Heathcote remains in third with $89,650.
The top 2YO runner was Pennino, by Wattle Brae sire Easy Rocking banked $49,500 in January to claim the top stop, Flinders Hiway, Plumaro and Red Doulton sharing second spot while Desert Digby, King of the North and Last Chance were equal third.
Pennino has shot up into second position on the 2YO QTIS Premiership table for the season with a total of $52,950 in QTIS bonus prizemoney, behind Blue Book who has $73,500 and Ardoyne Road, by Top Echelon has been pushed down into third with $36,750.
Former Glenlogan Park sire, Falvelon has had a boom January, with five runners featured in the top ten table for best performing QTIS 3YOs including the top two, Bat a Kat with $49,000 and Sista Act $36,750. Mishani Bullitt, by another former Gelnlogan Park Champion sire, Show a Heart, rounded out the top three with $24,500 in QTIS bonuses.
There's been big changes on the 3YO QTIS Seasonal table with two Falvelon runners, Bat a Kat and Sista Act moving up into the top two positions with $68,800 and $49,500 in QTIS bonus prizemoney respectively. Dazzling Red, by Eureka Stud sire Red Dazzler has $41,500 for third.
