Racing Australia recently announced the Trainers and Owners Reforms (TOR) due to take effect on August 1 and EQPay looks well placed to support all industry participants with its implementation.
EQPay’s CEO David Pourre explains that EQPay is able to provide an invoicing system that is free, easy to use, reduces administration tasks and gets trainers and studs paid on time.
Additionally, owners/clients are provided with many different options to pay their invoices, all in a safe and secure environment.
“We provide each owner/client with their own EQPay account that they can access on their computer or via the EQPay app. They’re able to view and pay all invoices as well as receive updates, photos, videos about their horses all in the one place.”
David adds, “Importantly, with the new TOR changes, EQPay has the only automatic ‘dispute’ functionality whereby owners can simply press a button, give their reason for their dispute and a stop will be placed on the payment of their invoice. This saves owners calling financial institutions or credit card providers to place stops on direct debits unbeknownst to trainers. The benefit for trainers is they are notified immediately when a dispute is raised so they can work with the owner to resolve the issue in advance of the invoice due date.”
The team at EQPay are happy to answer any questions you may have and are also more than happy to provide trainers and breeders with a demo of how their system is helping people in the racing industry right across Australia.
