We've rounded the turn and are in the final dash for the 2017 season QTIS Premiership.
Ben Currie (pictured, courtsey Graham Potter) was the top 2yo QTIS trainer for June, with $35,800 in bonus prizemoney, while Michelle Petrofski earned second place after earning $18,200 and Paul Butterworth collected $17,000 for third.
But Krystle Johnston still had a handy lead for the 2YO Trainer for the season with $149,000 in QTIS bonus prizemoney in the bank, with John Zielke on $113,500 and Liam Birchley close behind him with $107,450.
Former QTIS Premiership winning trainer, Les Ross led the 3yo's for June after winning $25,500 in bonus prizemoney, Liam Birchley had $18,500 and Tony Gollan was only one thousand dollars behind him
The seasonal table hasn't changed however, with John and Chris Meagher going to be hard to beat as they sit on $202,050. Ben Currie could still do it if he gets some good winners this month, he's only $20,000 behind the Meaghers, with Tony Gollan rounding out the trifecta after banking $161,900 in QTIS bonus prizemoney so far this season.
Golden Guardian added to the tally for Queensland's leading First Season sire, Golden Archer, who stands at Raheen Stud. Golden Guardian was the top QTIS 2yo for June, collecting $18,200 for owners. Pure Luck, by Oakland's Stud stire, Sidereus came in second alongside Wonder Boom, by Flavelon, who stood at Glenlogan Park with $17,000 each in bonus prizemoney. It was three Lyndhurst Stud bred runners in equal third place, earning $12,750 each, Lost Connections and Princess Snowy, both by Sequalo and Beach Drum, by Drumbeats.
However it looks like Paradis Imperial will be hard to beat for the title of Leading 2YO QTIS Performer on Earnings. With only a few weeks remaining, the talented filly by Sun Stud's Instinction, has $112,650. Craiglea Velvet, by Citiwyse is second with $56,250 and Cooroi Chase sits in third with $47,250 in QTIS bonus prizemoney.
Fallen for You was the best 3yo QTIS performer last month, collecting $25,500 with Fit for You coming in second, $10,000 behind. Both are by former Glenlogan Park sire, Show a Heart. Banshee Jet, by Jet Spur, who now stands at Grandview Stud was a very close third after earning $15,375 in QTIS bonuses for connections.
But Eureka Stud's Red Dazzler filly, Our Beebee, still sits at the top of the table for the season with $123,000 in the bank, followed by Thunder Raider on $94,950 and Ringo's a Rockstar by Lyndhurst Stud sire Drumbeats.
