Congratulations to the 2020-21 TBQA Queensland Champions:
Champion First Season Sire – Worthy Cause (Clear Mountain Fairview Stud). This promising young sire had seven runners with five winners for ten wins earning a total of $413,850. His top performer was Hinged ($268,350).
Champion 2YO Sire – Better Than Ready (Lyndhurst Stud). In the winner’s circle once again, Better Than Ready recorded total earnings of $1,698,730 this season with his 15 winners (from 38 runners) recording 27 wins; the best of them being Alpine Edge, earning $668,450
Champion Stallion – Spirit of Boom (Eureka Stud) continues his dominance of the Championship awards, winning at least one of the Queensland titles every year since he was a freshman sire. This season, his best runner was Jonker who collected $887,000 of the total earnings of $7,754,485. Spirit of Boom had 221 runners this season with 115 of them recording a total of 205 wins.
